NanoBioMedical Centre UAM: Breakthrough Innovations and Challenges of Nanotechnology and Biotechnology in Medicine
The NanoBioMedical Centre of the A.Mickiewicz University of Poznan (CNBM UAM) is a unique research and scientific centre that combines interdisciplinary knowledge in physics, chemistry, nanotechnology, biology, biotechnology and medicine. CNBM is where science meets innovation, creating breakthrough solutions for medicine, the chemical industry and related sectors.
Our mission is to conduct world-class research, support education, transfer knowledge and develop cooperation at the interface between science, industry and society. We specialise in the design, manufacture and characterisation of nanomaterials and explore their application potential in areas such as:
- medicine: modern diagnostic materials and methods, drug delivery systems, tissue engineering, 3D printing.
- sustainable chemistry and environmental technologies: development of processes that reduce the environmental footprint and support sustainable development.
- energy: innovative energy conversion and storage technologies.
- sensors and electronics: production of highly sensitive, selective sensors and development of nanoelectronics.
- knowledge and technology transfer: cooperation with industry to implement research into practical applications.
With an advanced research infrastructure and a team of high-level specialists, we combine basic research with practical technology transfer, contributing to improving the quality of life and increasing the competitiveness of companies.
At CHEMTEC POLAND 2025, we will be pleased to present our latest developments and solutions, and the possibilities to implement them on an industrial scale.
We look forward to working with you! Together, let's build a future based on knowledge and innovation!
